2011 Shanghai Fashion Week was opened on October 20th. Shanghai Fashion Week is a state-level large economic and cultural activity, supported by Ministry of Commerce, sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Government, and undertaken by Shangtex. On the afternoon of opening day, the first big show of 2011 Shanghai Fashion Week- Prolivon 2012 Spring & Summer Fashion Show was grandly held in the show room newly built on the big lawn of Fuxing Park.  
The release of Prolivon S&S Fashion was innovative. At 2 a.m., there was the Bund Bell sound around the show room, which was a memory of Shanghai more than a hundred year. The familiar whistle, the tinkle from Dangdang car, cries of selling gardenias and white orchids and busy sound, and shadows of phoenix trees, all took the audience back to the Oriental Paris – modern Shanghai in 1930s. Prolivon, a brand from Shanghai, inherits the pattern and elegance of Shanghai with the romance and luxury of Paris. With the classic dance “Bolero Dance” from a French composer Maurice Ravel, the classic blended with the modern, exciting the hearts of the audience. The models, with Prolivon clothes in white, were in the peak of the fashion world as blossoming flowers.
